I am an Ottawa-born, Indian-Canadian actor, singer, dancer and creator. I will be graduating from the National Theatre School of Canada this spring and am looking forward to exploring new artistic projects with collaborators from all corners of the industry.
My experience playing Nearly Wild in the National Arts Centre production of Concord Floral, directed by Erin Brubacher and Cara Spooner, was what inspired me to pursue theatre on a professional level, starting with my training at NTS. In her time at school, I have worked with many professionals who have shaped me into the artist I am today. These include Alisa Palmer, Jackie Maxwell, Ian Watson, Brenda Bazinet, Rebecca Harper, Adam Lazarus and David Latham and many more,
Television and film credits include The Apprentice and the Curse of the Fanged Madonna (Leader Media), Indomptable WILD (Morgana Mackenzie Films), Game On (YTV).
Aside from acting, I have been training in classical music and musical theatre since I was was very young, performing roles such as Gretel in Hansel and Gretel by Humperdinck as well as Catherine Hyatt in The Last 5 Years. I am also an emerging director currently in the process of workshopping my own mask piece based on a short story by Anton Chekov.
I am passionate about participating in art that is accessible, challenging, joyful and vulnerable.
